Waranj Dhurawaraga - Growing Strong Together (NDIS support)

Waminda now offers NDIS support coordination and ongoing services.

Our vision is to support the choice and control of Aboriginal women and their families by offering high quality, responsive, culturally based supports and services to women and their Aboriginal children with disability in the Shoalhaven and Illawarra.

Waranj Dhurawaraga works closely with our Healing team at Balaang Gunyah (Orient Point), which is a culturally safe space, supporting women on their healing journey and facilitating opportunities for women to step into their family, community and cultural roles. Waranj Dhurawaraga provides practical supports
for people with disability, including short term accommodation (respite), transport and support to access community, support with in home daily living activities, as well as assistance to participate in social and community activities and events.

The Waminda Model of Care offers a holistic wrap-around support system, meeting individuals wherever they are at on their NDIS journey.
